Dealing with Eczema

Dealing with Eczema the natural way
Most parents at some time in their life must deal with the flaring up of eczema. It is often a frustrating ordeal finding the rights products to relieve this skin condition. Many parents are also now concerned about the problems associated with using steroids and cheaper products to get rid of eczema. So how can we alleviate this condition in the most natural way possible?

Without correct treatment, trying to keep on top of eczema will be a very frustrating ordeal. We recommend following all of the below pointers for greatest effect: -

To provide great results we recommend using only natural skin care products. We cannot express this fact enough! Using a natural body wash, and then following up with a conventional body lotion will simply frustrate by not providing the results you are expecting. Go through the products that you use on your child and see if there are any that may be potentially aggravating the issue. Simply eliminating these problem products may produce some definite results.

We recommend parents to also pay attention to what is going into your little ones stomach. While feeding a wide range of fresh organic fruit and vegetables to your child is as nature intended, fresh conventional produce is still highly recommended over more processed foods. We would also recommend a portion of your child’s vegetables to be uncooked or of the fermented variety to provide a rich source of enzymes (which assist with the digestive system). Some raw vegetables are not highly digestible when raw and should be avoided. Broccoli, cabbage and collards should always be cooked. But there are a number of raw vegetables that most can handle such as cucumbers, celery, carrots, red and yellow bell peppers, and lettuce. As always, make sure all uncooked foods are well washed before being consumed!

Following the above recommendations should provide some good results, but remember that you may not see results straight away, and some may only notice a difference after several weeks.

So what do we recommend for eczema?
Bumble Bees Organic Baby Skin Care has been formulated entirely from natural ingredients and works to soothe and support the skins normal function without irritating or drying it out. As the ingredients are all natural and completely safe, there is no concern you are putting your baby in harms way.

Apply the Bumble Bees Organic Botty Butter several times a day when the eczema is inflamed and angry. It can also be used when the eczema isn’t angry. Use the baby lotion several times a day to moisturise and nourish the dry skin, alternating with the Baby Oil several times a day.

The lotion contains high proportions of Shea and Cocoa butter both of which are extremely nourishing and soothing to the skin and recommended for extremely dry skin (eczema). The oil has roman chamomile, geranium and lavender essential oils along with jojoba and sweet almond oils and natural vitamin e which is a powerful combination against eczema affected skin.

It would also be undoing all the good of the above products to use any regular baby wash/shampoo. It is vital to use the Bumble Bees Organic Baby Wash and omit all other products in the bath (no bubble bath, etc). This is a lot of products for trying out a new range of skin care and so we recommend new comers to purchase the Bumble Bees Organic Baby Skin Care Pack which contains all of the above products and more for quite a reasonable price.
