Pure & Natural
The ingredients we choose for our formulations have been specifically chosen for their therapeutic properties, their effect on the skin, their gentleness as well as their aroma.
Organic Hydrosol
Instead of water in our products we use certified organic roman chamomile hydrosol (floral water). Roman Chamomile water has been especially recommended for use in skincare for delicate complexions with allergic tendencies. Roman Chamomile Hydrosol is valuable for all skin types; it has a soothing and relaxing aroma while assisting dry flaky itchy skin, rashes, acne and eczema.
Organic Aromatherapy Oils
Our essential oils are of superior quality; they are organic wherever available, unrefined and contain valuable therapeutic properties which are necessary for natural corrective skin care.
Organic Extracts & Raw Materials
Our shea nut butter is fair trade produce which is unrefined, unbleached and as close to nature as you can get, together with the gentle aroma of our unrefined, unbleached cocoa butter, our lotions are rich and nourishing. Our herbal extracts are either in a base of vegetable glycerine or organic sugar cane ethanol (this sugar cane ‘ethanol’ is the chemical name for a naturally occurring plant alcohol which is non-irritating and non-drying to the skin), our clay and salts are Australian sourced and naturally occurring.
Natural Preservatives
We only use pure, organic and natural ingredients to create our formulations and as such must have a preservation system that follows our ethics. The preservatives we use in our skin care are pure and natural and approved by the ACO (Australian Certified Organic). We use a combination of natural GMO free vitamin E, rosemary leaf extract and Plantaserve Q (GMO free, natural preservative which is a proprietary formulation of naturally occurring herbal extracts including almond and vanilla). Plantaserve Q is registered with the ACO as a GMO free and totally natural herbal preservative. When combined at the correct percentages, our natural preservative and anti-oxidants work synergistically to give a high level of protection against rancidity. We recommend storing our products below 30ºC, away from direct sunlight and using them in accordance with the Best Before date. We proudly list ALL of our ingredients (even the 1%) on our products and are confident that when our products are compared with other brands, we have the most natural ingredients by far.
GMO Free
A genetically modified organism (GMO) is a plant, animal or microorganism whose genetic code has been altered in order to give it characteristics that it does not naturally have. Limited information is known about the long-term effects of such scientific advancements. It may or may not be detrimental to humans, plants, animals and/or the environment. While some see GMO's as the way to the future, others believe that it’s unnatural and unnecessary; opting to reject products containing GMO ingredients. Our skin care uses ingredients supplied in their most natural state. We source pure, GMO free and organic ingredients.

We refer to our products as ‘ORGANIC’ because they contain more than 90% certified organic or totally naturally occurring ingredients. Our Botty Butter carries the ACO Bud logo (Australian Certified Organic); all of our range is eligible for certification but we have opted to keep the price down and instead introduced a % logo on each of our products so you can make an informed decision when purchasing.
Choose Cruelty Free
We are accredited with Choose Cruelty Free for both of our ranges, while Amboni Organics is almost Vegan (it contains milk powder in it's Bath Milk), Bumble Bees Organic Baby Skin Care is Vegetarian as it contains organic unbleached beeswax in (2) of it’s products (Botty Butter and Baby Chest Rub).
Our Accreditation with Choose Cruelty Free means that we have not tested nor do we have a 3rd party test our products or ingredients on animals. We do not use animal ingredients that cannot be obtained without harming the animal. The beeswax and milk powder that we use in our products are obtained without harm to the animal.
